Hyundai's progress is in the air at the 90th Geneva Motor Show.

Since 1905, the Geneva Motor Show has been a portal through which attendees can catch a glimpse of the state of the art in automotive and technological advancements.  The focus of Hyundai’s presence at the 90th Geneva Motor Show is to show the public that “real progress is in the air” by showcasing new vehicles that are the cornerstone of human-centric development with balanced technology and individuality. ‘Real progress’ represents not just where Hyundai is going, but also how far it has come.

Along with the public premiere of the all-new Hyundai i20 and the new i30, at this year’s event, Hyundai will showcase its new Concept EV, Prophecy, the latest extension of Hyundai’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design philosophy. In keeping with the progressive theme, all models at the Hyundai booth will be electrified.

The unveiling of the EV Prophecy will take place on 03 March 2020, at 11:45 AM CEST in the Hall 45, at the Hyundai booth, 4252.

    The new Concept EV.

    A Prophecy of timeless beauty.

The name, Prophecy, reflects the concept’s purpose, defining the direction of future Hyundai designs, while establishing itself as a design icon for Hyundai’s EV line-up.

Prophecy incorporates the latest design language envisioned by Hyundai and augment its design philosophy of Sensuous Sportiness by delivering a beautiful silhouette accentuated by graceful curves flowing over rear flanks that provide excellent aerodynamics.

'Prophecy' does not follow trends. It accentuates timeless beauty that will stand the test of time. Its iconic design stands to expand Hyundai’s design spectrum toward even broader horizons.

    - SangYup Lee | Head of Hyundai Global Design Center -

The Hyundai Concept EV 'Prophecy' will be unveiled to the world on 03 March 2020 at the Geneva International Motor Show (11:45 CEST, Stand 4252 / Hall4). Hyundai Motor will be showcasing the mid-long term electrification strategy and focusing on the humanity beyond the technology under the concept of 'Real Progress is in the Air’, which is inspired by new brand vision (Progress for Humanity) and exhibition contents.
